Anyone wishing to present at the conference must submit an abstract in electronic format using the Indico conference system. The abstract can be submitted through this system from May 1, 2024, until June 15, 2024. The system for electronic submission of abstracts is the sole mechanism for the submission of contributed abstracts. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts as early as possible.
All submitted abstracts will be subject to a thorough review by program committee members. The authors can anticipate receiving an acceptance decision for their abstracts by June 30, 2024.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the Applied Statistics 2024 conference proceedings and made accessible to all conference attendees. By submitting an abstract, the authors agree with its publication and public disclosure. The authors are responsible for handling the sensitive or confidential information present in their submissions.
Based on the outcomes of the evaluation and presentation of the papers, the Program Committee will choose the most exceptional submissions for publication in the peer-reviewed journal Advances in Methodology and Statistics, which is the official publication of the Statistical Society of Slovenia. The invited authors will have the opportunity to expand their conference submission to full-length papers. The selection process will be concluded shortly after the conference.
