Oral Presentation

Contributed Talk

  • 20 minutes total
  • Allocate time for presentation, questions, and discussion
  • Recommended presentation length: 15 minutes maximum to allow adequate time for Q&A

Invited Talk

  • 50 minutes total
  • Includes presentation time plus speaker introduction and discussion period

Supported Format

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx)
  • Adobe PDF (.pdf)

Standard Equipment (provided in each presentation hall)

  • Personal computer with Microsoft Windows 11
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 (version 16.0)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 2024)
  • Laser pointer with presentation clicker

Important: Personal laptops and custom devices cannot be connected to the presentation system. All presentations must use the provided equipment.

Presentation Submission

Requirements

  • Language: All presentations must be delivered in English
  • Deadline: Sunday, September 21, 2025 (23:59 CEST)
  • Submission: Upload your presentation to the Indico Conference system
  • File naming: FirstAuthorLastName.{pdf,pptx} (e.g., Smith.pptx or Johnson.pdf)

Note: Do not attempt to copy files directly to presentation computers. All materials must be submitted via email by the deadline.

Poster Presentation

Poster Specification

  • Size: A0 format (841 × 1189 mm / 33.1 × 46.8 inches)
  • Orientation: Portrait (vertical) orientation required
  • Language: All poster content must be in English

Design Recommendation

  • Font size: Minimum 24pt for body text, larger for headings
  • Layout: Include clear sections for Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions
  • Visual elements: Use high-quality figures, charts, and images
  • Contact information: Include author names, affiliations, and email addresses

Poster Session Protocol

  • Setup: Posters must be mounted before the session begins (specific times TBD)
  • Attendance: Authors must be present at their posters during designated poster session times
  • Materials: Push pins and mounting materials will be provided
  • Duration: Posters should remain displayed for the entire designated period

Session Protocol

Before Your Presentation

  • Check in with your session chair before the session begins
  • Remain present for the entire session in which you are presenting

Conference Participation

  • Attend multiple sessions when possible to support fellow presenters
  • Engage actively in discussions to enhance the conference experience
  • Wear your name badge visibly at all sessions and conference events
