Information for Presenters

Planned time for a contributed talk is 20 minutes, including introduction and discussion, so prepare your talks accordingly (an upper limit of 15 minutes is recommended).

Invited speakers have 50 minutes for a talk, including introduction and discussion.

PowerPoint presentations and presentations in PDF format will be supported. Standard equipment will be placed in each presentation hall:

  1. Personal computer with Microsoft Windows 11 operating system
  2. Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 (v. 16.0)
  3. Adobe Acrobat Reader (v. 2024)
  4. Laser pointer with clicker

Presenters will not be able to use their own computers for the presentation.

Presenters are required to prepare and deliver their presentations in English. All presenters are requested to send their presentations in PDF or PPTX format to the conference email by Sunday, September 22, 2024, so organizers have enough time to prepare the materials before the conference. Name the presentation file as AS2024_FirstAuthorLastName.{pdf,pptx}. Please do not try to copy your presentation to the presentation computers.

Please make your presence known to the session chair before your session begins and be present during the entire session in which your presentation is scheduled.

We would like to encourage you to attend as many sessions as possible and be active in discussions; your presence will be appreciated by presenters and will contribute to the success of the conference. Please take care to have name badges visible at all sessions and conference events.
