The Applied Statistics International Conference (AS 2026) is the official annual meeting of the Statistical Society of Slovenia. For over two decades, the conference has served as a cross-disciplinary hub where theoretical statistics converges with modern data science. We invite researchers, methodologists, and practitioners from around the globe to gather in Koper, Slovenia, to present their research and foster new scientific collaborations.

The conference facilitates the exchange of high-level academic insights and practical expertise across a three-day program:

1. Main conference (September 21–22): A comprehensive scientific program featuring peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations, alongside invited keynote lectures by distinguished experts.
2. Workshop day (September 23): A dedicated day focusing on advanced methodological skills, emerging statistical software, and hands-on applications.

AS 2026 continues its tradition of excellence by providing a collaborative environment for the advancement of statistics across diverse fields, including social sciences, biomedicine, economics, and engineering.
